Mary was a policy analyst for ASP focusing on nuclear security and arms control issues. Prior to joining ASP, she interned at Ploughshares Fund, working on Iran and nuclear budget issues. She previously interned at the Budgeting for Foreign Affairs and Defense Project at the Stimson Center and worked as a research assistant for the Afghanistan Study Group.

Originally from St. Paul, MN, Mary has a Masters in International Affairs from American University, where she specialized in security studies, and a B.A. in 19th century American history from the University of Oklahoma.
