ASP’s Nick Cunningham Quoted on Swiss Public Radio
ASP’s Nick Cunningham was quoted on Schweizer Radio Und Fernsehen (Swiss Radio and TV) about the prospect of the United States exporting natural gas. The program looked at how greater exports of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the U.S. may affect geopolitics around the globe. From the U.S.’s perspective, LNG exports can serve geopolitical goals by providing more sources of energy for American allies, such as Japan and the European Union. Cunningham spoke about how LNG can enhance energy security for these allies, reducing the leverage of nation’s like Russia to use energy as a political tool.
