PAST EVENT: ASP to Join Rep. Bryan Lentz and Leading Experts at Clean Energy Summit
MEDIA, PA – American Security Project (ASP) Senior Fellow Dr. Bernard Finel will join Rep. Bryan R. Lentz, Dr. Jerry Parker, Nathan Wilcox from PennEnvironment, and other leading experts at a “Clean Energy Summit” panel discussion at Delaware Community College in Media, Pennsylvania. Dr. Finel will discuss findings from his recent report detailing the security implications of climate change, including how food shortages, scarcity of resources and mass migration will impact the stability of countries and how these changes have already begun to contribute to increases in global conflict and terrorism. Prior to joining ASP, Dr. Finel was a professor of military strategy and operations at the U.S. National War College, and he served as Executive Director of the Security Studies Program and Center for Peace and Security Studies at Georgetown University.
