Senator Kerry launches new global warming campaign

Senator John F. Kerry will kick off a new campaign today aimed at exposing the security threats related to global warming. In the attempt to educate congress and the general public on the issues of how climate change will effect security through famines, water shortages, and other climate change related issues.
Senator Kerry who is chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, will be one of the keynote speakers at the bipartisan symposium co-sponsored by the American Security Project and is currently working on climate change legislation that he hopes to see passed this year.
