ASP’s February 17^th Risk Forum in partnership with Lloyd’s of London, Risk Cooperative, and JLT was the focus of a recent Business Insurance article. Business Insurance wrote on the challenges of government response to disasters, and how those responses can sometimes harm efforts to promote city resilience.

“Government treats risk as if it were a surprise event,” Chairman of the Business Council for American Security and Risk Cooperative CEO Dante Disparte said in an interview. “We need to think about budgeting or large losses. We know large losses will occur. We shouldn’t treat them as a surprise.”
