Andrew Holland Quoted by Bloomberg
ASP’s COO, Andrew Holland, was quoted in an article from Bloomberg last Thursday. The article discusses the proposed merger of Sprint and T-mobile, and the potential national security risk such a merger poses; the new merged company would be able to purchase gear from telecommunications equipment maker Huawei, which has been accused of sanctions violations and trade-secret theft.
“These global multinationals — they shouldn’t have more resources to go out and buy Huawei,” Andrew Holland, chief operating officer for the policy group American Security Project and a former aide to Senator Chuck Hagel, said on a conference call organized by an entity called Protect America’s Wireless.
