On Thursday, March 12^th, ASP Adjunct Senior Fellow Fadi Elsalameen was quoted in an Al-Monitor piece by Daoud Kuttab. Elsalameen contributed to the discussion about the incredible turnout of Palestinians opposing current prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the recent Israel elections.

The March 2^nd Israel elections ended with no coalition able to be form. Although there remains to be unknowns on the proposed national government, many have seen the election results as a symbol of success.

Elsalameen states that “This success not only blocks Netanyahu from forming a government, but also ends the right-wing agenda of excluding Palestinian Arabs from having a place in Israeli politics.”
