Adjunct Senior Fellow Fadi Elsalameen in Al-Monitor
On Thursday, March 12th, ASP Adjunct Senior Fellow Fadi Elsalameen was quoted in an Al-Monitor piece by Daoud Kuttab. Elsalameen contributed to the discussion about the incredible turnout of Palestinians opposing current prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the recent Israel elections.
The March 2nd Israel elections ended with no coalition able to be form. Although there remains to be unknowns on the proposed national government, many have seen the election results as a symbol of success.
Elsalameen states that “This success not only blocks Netanyahu from forming a government, but also ends the right-wing agenda of excluding Palestinian Arabs from having a place in Israeli politics.”
