Jackson Dunn is a Senior Managing Director and Head of the Public Affairs practice for the Americas. He provides counsel to international firms in the organization and implementation of event-driven communications strategies centering on crisis management, legislative and regulatory changes and leadership transitions across broad sectors of the economy including energy, healthcare and financial services.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Dunn spent fifteen years at the intersection of national politics and policy as an aide to President Bill Clinton, John Kerry, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Terry McAuliffe and Senator Terry Sanford.
In the Clinton White House, he was Associate Director of Public Liaison, coordinating the business community’s support of President Clinton’s economic and trade agenda, including the successful efforts to pass the New Markets Initiative and to secure PNTR for the People’s Republic of China.
Mr. Dunn holds degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the London School of Economics and Political Science.
He resides in Washington DC with his wife and twin daughters.
