Middle East Security Research Intern
Expertise: Middle East Development
Julia is an international relations and sociology major going into her senior year at Johns Hopkins. Her focus is research training in global social change and development. She previously interned at the Pell Center for International Relations and Public Policy, doing international comparative research on education, incarceration, climate change mitigation, and broadband policy. Prior to that, she worked with an urban governance research group, looking at the rise of Special Benefit Districts and their effect on urban populations, particularly on security and crime rates.
