Nicole Bohannon recently completed her bachelor’s degree from the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University, focusing in European and Latin American affairs. Born and raised in Washington DC, she has always had a strong interest in international politics, bolstered by her experience working and interning in non-profits, think tanks, and consulting groups. Before working at the American Security Project, she interned for the United Nations Association advocating on the Hill and implementing curriculum in DC, Maryland, and Virginia schools teaching children about the UN. In addition to working, Nicole spent nearly 7 years doing Model UN while in school, and enjoys watching classic movies in her free time.
