Expertise: Event Planning, Social Media, Cyber Security, Climate Change, Energy Security, and National Security

Joining ASP in December 2013, Mr. Brockway was hired on as the Events Coordinator to handle the planning and logistics of the National Security & Climate Change National Tour. His main responsibilities include reserving venues, coordinating meetings, planning and booking of travel arrangements, and serving as the point of contact for ASP events inside and outside the DC Metro Area.

Prior to working with ASP, Mr. Brockway was a special assistant to United States Senator Sherrod Brown. He facilitated meetings, met with constituents, and ensured the safe transportation of the Senator. With a keen eye to detail, Mr. Brockway also compiled all status reports from every issue area serviced by Senator Brown and his staff. Before joining Senator Brown, Mr. Brockway served as a Legislative Intern with main issue areas including: defense, healthcare, international relations, science & technology, and LGBT rights.

Mr. Brockway studied International Relations, Political Science, and History at Kent State University. Currently, he is enrolled at the Robert H. Smith School or Business and the University of Maryland to a Masters in Business Administration.

Mr. Brockway strongly believes in growing mentally and physically every day. He speaks German and reads about history frequently. During the week he often hikes with his dog and plays flag football on the weekends.
