Expertise: Energy, Climate Security, Arctic initiatives, and Canadian Affairs

Texas raised, Albert moved to Washington D.C. to attend American University and is currently in his second year of his Master’s program, Global Governance Politics and Security. Albert spent his first year in D.C. Interning in country and abroad with the U.S. State Department, specifically focusing on environmental and climate security.

At the university, Albert is involved with the Graduate Council, and SIS. In the community, Albert is an avid supporter of the DCGFFL league and their contributions to the Victory Fund and “Out To Win”. He plans to take the Foreign Service Examination in the Fall and join international diplomatic community.
