National Security Strategy Intern 

Expertise: National Security Strategy, Public Diplomacy, History, U.S. Foreign Military Development, Latin America, Middle East 

Matthew Levitt is an undergraduate student at the George Washington University studying International Affairs with a concentration in Security Policy. He is also majoring in Political Science and is studying Russian.  

Alongside his work as a National Security Strategy Intern at ASP, Matthew is also a Research Assistant in the George Washington University Department of Political Science, where he studies U.S. foreign military development in the Vietnam War, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom, as well as contingency access acquisition across various U.S. military campaigns in recent history. Matthew is also the Director of Academic Programming at the George Washington University’s chapter of the Alexander Hamilton Society.
