Holland Featured in San Francisco Chronicle
ASP’s Director of Studies Andrew Holland was featured in an article, “Why opposing free trade really means opposing the world” for the San Francisco Chronicle. He argues that “countries that trade with each other tend not to fight with each other,” and that Democratic and Republican leaders are to blame for the disconnect between U.S. economic and foreign policies.
Holland believes that officials are attempting to promote free-trade agreements in a vacuum solely with economic arguments, without discussing their impact on peace and national security.
