ASP cited by the Climate Desk
The Climate Desk cited ASP recently in an article on the increasing frequency of superstorms in the future. The article discusses the financial implications of severe flooding and storms to New York and several other coastal cities. According to the article, cities like New York should invest in infrastructure and methods to overcome existing inefficiencies in order to reduce storm vulnerability. From the article:
The American Security Project, a Washington think tank, projects that climate impacts could cost the state a whopping $45.4 billion by 2050, with extreme storms alone putting $129.7 billion worth of property at risk.
