ASP Presents on Climate Security at Florida Climate Week 2023
On Monday, October 2, Jessica Olcott Yllemo, ASP’s Director, Climate Security Programs, presented “Climate and National Security: Florida’s Role in America’s Climate Resilience” during Florida Climate Week 2023. The presentation highlighted key climate security and resilience concepts, as well as specific risks and hazards for the state of Florida. It also covered some of the critical milestones and resilience actions underway and how they connect to resilience for both the Department of Defense and national security.
