ASP’s Gen. Cheney Quoted in The Guardian
CEO of ASP, BGen. Stephen Cheney was quoted on the adverse effects of climate change in Damian Carrington’s December 1 article “Climate Change Will Stir ‘Unimaginable’ Refugee Crisis, Says Military” on the Guardian.
BGen. Cheney highlights the importance of addressing climate change as soon as possible and being prepared to face the consequences of inaction. “Climate change could lead to a humanitarian crisis of epic proportions. We’re already seeing migration of large numbers of people around the world because of food scarcity, water insecurity and extreme weather, and this is set to become the new normal.”
