Expertise: Nationalism in post-Soviet states, historical contexts of modern Russian foreign policy
Keegan Farrington is a Global Policy MA student at the University of Maine’s School of Policy and International Affairs. His areas of focus include Nationalism in Former Soviet States and its Effects on Russian Minority Populations, Russian Foreign Policy, and the NATO-Russia Relationship. He is particularly interested in Eastern European and Central Asian security.
Before beginning his MA, Keegan completed his undergraduate degree in Economics and Political Science at The University of Maine. In between his undergraduate and graduate programs, Keegan was a trail builder on portions of the Maine Appalachian Trail.
In his free time Keegan enjoys running, reading, learning Russian, and exploring the museums of DC.
