Boston Globe – Senator John Kerry asks Senate to restore funding for MIT energy lab

Senator John Kerry is fighting to save a Massachusetts Institute of Technology research program focused on fusion, which is at risk of being cut under President Obama’s budget proposal. If the program is cut, according to Kerry, 130 employees at MIT would lose their jobs and a promising area of research would be cut off.
