The Age of Consequences: A New Climate Security Film featuring ASP
The Age of Consequences, an upcoming climate security film, explores the risk of climate change through the lens of national security and global stability. Featuring ASP’s CEO, Brigadier General Stephen Cheney, the film provides both an introduction for those new to the climate-security conversation, in addition to a high-level discussion from distinguished Admirals, Generals, and Veterans. The Age of Consequences investigates the consequences of our inaction and delves into climate changes’ role,
“As (an) ‘accelerant of instability’ and (a) ‘catalyst for conflict’ in volatile regions of the world.”
Set to be released later in 2016, tickets are available for a sneak peek on the film’s Kickstarter page. To purchase tickets for the sneak peek in New York City or Boston, or to donate, click here.
A part of the climate security field since its inception, the American Security Project has a wide range of comprehensive reports on the potential threats and effective responses to climate change. To review these reports in full, visit ASP’s Climate Security page here.
