Although Iran claims its nuclear program is exclusively for providing civilian power and medical research, it has created concern that the government is pursuing an illicit nuclear weapons program.

The United States has responded by instituting sanctions and the European Union has agreed to halt the importation of Iranian oil products.  But with the web of sanctions growing by the day, how do they affect Iran’s nuclear program?

Join the American Security Project in a lunchtime discussion on the status and prospects of the Iranian nuclear program.

The event will take place in the Russell Senate Office Building’s Kennedy Caucus Room 325.

Lunch refreshments will be served

The discussion will begin promptly at 12:30.  Please arrive by 12:00 for registration.

We hope you can join us.

Please RSVP by March 22 to events@americansecurityproject.org
