Wyoming Business Report: China to ease export quota for rare earth elements
Wyoming Business Report recently mentioned ASP’s Rare Earth Metals report:
China currently produces more than 95 percent of the 130,000 metric tons of rare earths consumed annually worldwide; that nation has been reducing its exports of rare earths each year. The rare earth market is growing rapidly, and is projected to accelerate if green technologies continue to be implemented on a broad scale.
The U.S. was once the world’s top producer and supplier of these metals, according to The American Security Project (ASP) website.
